IVL VERVS MAXIMVS CAES Bare-headed and draped bust of Maximus to right, seen from behind. Rev. PIETAS AVG Lituus, knife, jug, simpulum and aspergillum. Cf. BMC 118, Cohen 1 and RIC 1 (for prototype). Breaks in plating and traces of corrosion, otherwise, about very fine.
