We are looking for an enthusiastic numismatist to join our team and assist in identifying and describing coins for our floor and web auctions. Are you passionate about the world of coins and eager to work daily with numismatic treasures spanning 27 centuries? Bring your expertise to one of the world’s leading numismatic auction houses and work in a setting that honors tradition while embracing innovation among fellow numismatic enthusiasts.
 

You should bring:

  • Several years of experience as a numismatist
  • Residence in or willingness to relocate to Switzerland
  • Strong knowledge of Celtic, Greek, Roman, and Byzantine numismatics
  • Accurate identification and flawless English descriptions of ancient coins (particularly Celtic, Greek, Roman Provincial, Roman Republican & Imperatorial, Roman Imperial and Byzantine coins)
  • English as a first or second language, with only candidates possessing excellent English skills being considered
  • Ability to conduct research and work with scientific accuracy
  • Capacity to work precisely and thoroughly under time pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
