MACEDON. Akanthos. Circa 430-390 BC. Tetrobol (Silver, 16 mm, 2.19 g, 12 h). Forepart of a bull to left, head turned back to right; above, ΠE. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square with granulated recesses. HGC 3.1, 392. SNG ANS 44-6. Lightly toned. Struck from slightly worn dies and the reverse a little bit off center, otherwise, very fine.
