Hadrian, 117-138. Dupondius (Orichalcum, 27 mm, 16.45 g, 6 h), Rome, circa 124-125. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS Radiate head of Hadrian to right, with slight drapery on his left shoulder. Rev. COS - III / S C Pegasus flying to right. BMC 1330. Cohen 436 var. (no drapery) RIC 746. Attractive brown patina and with a fine old pedigree. Tiny spots of corrosion, otherwise, good very fine.
