A very well made plated imitation of a hekte from Kyzikos

MYSIA. Kyzikos. Circa 450-330 BC. Hekte (Subaeratus, 11 mm, 2.11 g, 12 h), a contemporary plated imitation. Orestes kneeling to left on tunny to left, holding sword in his right hand and resting his left hand on omphalos to right. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. Cf. BMFA 1533 and Von Fritze I, 165 (for prototype). A charming contemporary plated imitation, very well made. Very minor breaks in plating, otherwise, very fine.
