LOWER DANUBE. Geto-Dacians. 1st century BC. Denarius (Silver, 21 mm, 3.53 g, 11 h), possibly Roman Republican denarii of C. Naevius Balbus (79 BC) and P. Satrienus (77 BC). Diademed head of Venus to right; to left, S C. Rev. She-wolf standing right; to left, palm frond; above, imitative legend. Cf. Crawford 382/1 (for possible prototype of obverse) and 388/1 (for possible prototype of reverse). Light marks and the reverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, nearly very fine.
