Laureate head of Apollo to right. Rev. ΦΙΛΙΠΠOY Charioteer driving biga to right, holding reins in his left hand and goad in his right; below horses, coiled serpent right and monogram. Le Rider pl. 90, 6. SNG ANS 285. Thompson, ADM II 126c (same dies). An attractive piece of fine style and with some luster. Minor die rust and with very light deposits on the reverse, otherwise, virtually as struck.
