Maximianus, first reign, 286-305. Denarius (Bronze, 18 mm, 2.27 g, 6 h), Rome, 291. IMP MAXIMIANVS P F AVG Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Maximianus to right. Rev. HERCVLI PACIFERO Hercules standing front, head to left, holding branch in his right hand and club in his left, lion skin draped over his left arm.
