An extremely rare and impressive sestertius of Maximianus

Maximianus, first reign, 286-305. Sestertius (?) (Bronze, 22 mm, 3.67 g, 7 h), Rome, circa 291. IMP MAXIMIANVS AVG Laureate and cuirassed bust of Maximianus to right. Rev. VIRTVS AVGG Hercules standing front, head to left, holding club in his right hand and trophy in his left, lion skin draped over his left arm. Classical Numismatic Group 72 (2006), 1741 var. Somewhat rough and with traces of corrosion, otherwise, very fine.
