LUD•XV•D•G•FR• - ET NAV•REX• Bare bust of Louis XV to left; to right, countermark: Bernese coat of arms. Rev. SIT NOMEN DOMINI - BENEDICTUM 1769 Crowned coat of arms between two olive branches; to right, countermark: 40 / BZ. HMZ 2-231a. Nicely toned. Adjustment marks on the obverse of the host coin, otherwise, host coin fine, countermark good very fine.
