Aelius, Caesar, 136-138. As (Copper, 26 mm, 7.00 g, 6 h), Rome, 137. [AELIV]S CAESAR Bare head of Aelius to right. Rev. TR POT C[OS II] / S - C Fortuna-Spes standing front, head to left and raising her skirt , holding flower in her right hand and cornucopiae in her left. BMC -, cf. 1927-8 (Fortuna-Spes also holding rudder). Cohen -, cf. 64 (Fortuna-Spes also holding rudder). RIC 2692 note. Strack 894a. A very rare variety. Minor traces of corrosion and with some areas of weakness, otherwise, good very fine.
