Sabina, Augusta, 128-136/7. Denarius (Silver, 19 mm, 3.05 g, 6 h), Rome, circa 137-138. SABINA AVGVSTA Diademed and draped bust of Sabina to right. Rev. VENERI GENETRICI Venus standing front, head to right, lifting fold of drapery with her right hand and holding apple in her left. BMC 944 Cohen 73. RIC 2576. Beautifuly iridescent toning. Struck from somewhat worn dies, otherwise, about extremely fine.
