A beautiful Antoninianus of Carausius

Carausius, Romano-British Emperor, 286-293. Antoninianus (Silvered bronze, 23 mm, 4.20 g, 12 h), Londinium, circa 288. IMP CARAVSIVS P F AVG Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Carausius to right. Rev. PAX AVG / ML Pax standing front, head to left, holding olive branch in her right hand and long scepter in her left; in field to left, L. Cohen 241. RIC 101. RIC V.5 1997a. Webb 128. Fresh and attractive, with a bold portrait. The reverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, good extremely fine.
