AYTOKP KAIC Λ CЄΠTI CЄOYHPOC ΠЄP CЄB Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Septimius Severus to right, seen from behind; before, two countermarks: eagle with closed wings standing right, head to left, within oval incuse, and winged thunderbolt within oval incuse. Rev. AΔP ΔIOKAICAPЄⲰN Hexastyle temple adorned with three Nikai on roof and boukranion in pediment; between inner columns, winged thunderbolt; to left, cypress tree on altar. BMC 6-7. RPC V.3 online 85038. SNG Paris 867. For countermarks, Howgego 337 and 469. Minor traces of corrosion and light deposits and the reverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, very fine.
