Traces of the couplet ‘sikka zad bar haft kishvar sāya-yi fazl-i ilāh / hāmī-yi dīn-i Muhammad Shāh Ālam Pādishāh’ (‘The supporter of the religion of Muhammad, Shah Alam Padeshah, the shadow of God’s grace, struck coins in the seven climes’ in Persian); to left, ‘1120’ (in Persian). Rev. ‘… sana-yi 30 julūs-i maymanat maʾnūs’ (‘… in the year 30 of the prosperous reign’ in Persian). KM 205. Lightly cleaned and tiny flan faults on the obverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
