ΔΗΜΑΡΧ ΕΞ ΥΠΑΤΟϹ Τ Δ Laureate head of Caracalla to right, set on eagle with spread wings standing facing, head to right; to upper right, filleted thrysus. Prieur 1613 corr. (bust type, 2 examples). RPC V.3 online 1757 (3 examples). Extremely rare and of great interest, a very unusual emission. Minor scrape on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
