KYRENAICA. Kyrene. Ophellas, Ptolemaic Governor, first reign, circa 322-313 BC. 1/4 Unit (Bronze, 15 mm, 3.91 g, 12 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Corinthian helmet. Rev. Double silphion plant with two pair of leaves and fruits. BMC 202-3 and pl. XIX, 23-4. Buttrey 131-2. SNG Copenhagen -. Very rare. Minor roughness and the obverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, nearly very fine.
