MAΓNHTΩN - HPOΓNHTOΣ / ZOΠYPIΩNOΣ Apollo standing left on maeander pattern, holding filleted laurel branch in his lowered right hand and leaning his left elbow on a tall tripod behind him; all within laurel wreath. Ellis-Evans, Wreathed Tetradrachms, 200 (O.34/R.HZ22). Jones dies 32/a. A lovely piece of excellent style. Minor areas of weakness and light deposits on the reverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
