NORTHEAST GAUL. Caleti. Circa 80-50. Stater (Gold, 19 mm, 7.84 g, 7 h). Network of parallel and intertwined lines around a central trunk. Rev. Stylized charioteer driving horse to left; above, raised crossbar; below, lyre-like onament and raised crossbar; to right, rosette; to lower right, cross with central pellet. DT 91. LT 8694. Scheers, Gaule Belgique, series 10, class IIB.22 (this coin). Sills, Gallo-Belgic Bb, class 1b and pl. 11, 353. Very rare and with a very old pedigree. Large die break on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
