Judaica 'Abbasid Caliphate. temp. Al-Ma'mun, AH 199-218 / CE 813-833. Fals (Bronze, 23 mm, 2.59 g, 1 h), citing Dīnār ibn ʿAbd Allāh, Ludd (Lodd), date unclear, circa AH 200 / CE 815. Central field, in four lines: lā ilāha illā / Allāh waḥdahū / lā sharīka lahū / uncertain letter or mark (‘There is no deity but God alone; He has no associate’ in Arabic). Rev. Central field, in five lines: ibn ʿAbd Allāh / Muḥammad / rasūl / Allāh / Dīnār (the name Dīnār ibn ʿAbd Allāh arranged around ‘Muhammad is the Messenger of God’ in Arabic); margin mostly illegible.
