Judaica JUDAEA, Bar Kokhba War. 132-136 CE. Middle Bronze (Bronze, 26 mm, 6.32 g, 6 h), irregular coinage. Uncertain mint, Year 2 = 133/4 CE. 𐤔𐤌𐤏𐤅𐤌 ('Šimʿom' (sic!) in Paleo-Hebrew) Seven-branched palm tree with two bunches of dates. Rev. 𐤔𐤁 𐤋𐤇𐤓 𐤉𐤔𐤓𐤀𐤋 ('Year 2 of the Freedom of Israel' in blundered Paleo-Hebrew) Vine leaf on tendril. Bromberg -, cf. I 268. Hendin -, cf. 6436b. Meshorer, AJC, -. Mildenberg 181 (O13/R20).
