Diademed head of Ptolemy I to right, wearing aegis around neck. Rev. ΠΤΟΛΕΜΑΙΟΥ ΣΩΤΗΡΟΣ Eagle with closed wings standing left on thunderbolt; to left, monogram of Π and T above monogram of M and E; to right, ΑΛ above Θ. CPE 647. Hendin 6090. SNG Copenhagen 470. Svoronos 774. Beautifully toned and with an excellent portrait. Tiny marks and with a light scratch on the reverse, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
