PTOLEMAIC KINGS OF EGYPT. Ptolemy II Philadelphos, 285-246 BC. Hemiobol (Bronze, 16 mm, 3.71 g, 1 h), Tyre, circa 274-271. Diademed head of deified Alexander the Great to right with horn of Ammon and long, flowing hair. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ [ΠΤΟΛΕΜΑΙΟΥ] Eagle with open wings standing left on thunderbolt; in field to left, H above club. CPE B325. Svoronos 638. Very rare. Attractive earthen highlights on a dark patina. Very fine.
