SICILY. Himera. Circa 470-450 BC. Litra (Silver, 11 mm, 0.71 g, 9 h). Bearded male head to right, wearing taenia. Rev. IM-ERA-N Corinthian helmet to right within shallow round incuse. Dewing 618. HGC 2, 447. Rizzo pl. XXI, 13. SNG Copenhagen 312. SNG Lloyd 1028. SNG München 355. Rare, nicely toned and with a wonderful reverse. Somewhat granular, otherwise, about extremely fine.
