KINGS OF PONTOS. Mithradates VI Eupator, circa 120-63 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 30 mm, 16.59 g, 12 h), Amaseia or Sinope, circa 115/14. Diademed head of Mithradates VI to right. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ - MIΘPAΔATOY / EYΠATOPOΣ Pegasus grazing left, his right leg bent upwards; below, monogram; in field to left, star-in-crescent (Pontic royal badge). Callataÿ p. 8, -/-. HGC 7, -. RG 11.
