ISLANDS OFF ATTICA, Aegina. Circa 480-457 BC. Stater (Silver, 21 mm, 12.28 g, 6 h). Sea turtle seen from above, head in profile, with thick collar and row of dots down its back. Rev. Square incuse with large skew pattern. Meadows, Aegina, Group IIIa. Milbank Period III, pl. I, 15. Nicely toned. Struck slightly off center and with some digs on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
