ATTICA. Athens. Circa 165-42 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 29 mm, 16.51 g, 12 h), Phanokles, Apollonios and Theodoros, 120/9 BC. Head of Athena Parthenos to right, wearing triple-crested Attic helmet adorned with Pegasos and long tendril on the bowl, and with the foreparts of four horses above the visor. Rev. Α-ΘΕ / [Φ]ANO-KΛHΣ / AΠOΛ/[Λ]ΩNIOΣ / [Θ]EO/[Δ]Ω/[P]OΣ Owl standing facing on amphora; to right, Artemis standing right, holding torch in both hands; uncertain letters on amphora and below; all within laurel wreath.
