D N MAGNEN-TIVS P F AVG Rosette-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Magnentius to right. Rev. FELICITAS REI PVBLICE / RPLG Magnentius standing front in military attire, head to left, holding Victory on globe in his right hand and labarum in his left. Cf. Bastien 154 and RIC 112 (for prototype). An attractive piece struck from finely crafted imitative dies. Minor smoothing and the reverse struck from a slightly worn die, otherwise, about extremely fine.
