Octavian, 44-27 BC. Quinarius (Silver, 15 mm, 1.43 g, 12 h), reverse brockage mint error, uncertain mint in Italy (Brundisium or Rome?), 29-27. Incuse of reverse. Rev. ASIA RECEPTA Victory standing front on cista mistica, head to left, holding wreath in her right hand and palm frond in her left, flanked by two interlaced snakes with heads erect. Cf. BMC 647, Cohen 14 and RIC 276. Slightly rough and the reverse struck somewhat off center, otherwise, very fine.
