Man. Aemilius Lepidus, 114-113 BC. Denarius (Silver, 18 mm, 3.80 g, 12 h), obverse brockage mint error, Rome. ROMA Laureate, diademed and draped bust of Roma to right; behind, star (mark of value). Rev. Incuse of obverse. Cf. Babelon (Aemilia) 7, Crawford 291/1, RBW 1124 and Sydenham 554. Nicely toned. Slightly rough and with light scratches, otherwise, very fine.
