Trebonianus Gallus, 251-253. Antoninianus (Silver, 21 mm, 4.08 g, 6 h), a contemporary imitation of an issue from Rome, irregular mint, after 253. IMP CAE C VIB TREB GALLVS AVG Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Trebonianus Gallus to right, seen from behind. Rev. AEQVITAS AVGG Aequitas standing front, head to left, holding scales in her right hand and cornucopiae in her left. A highly interesting imitation struck from carefully engraved dies of wonderful style. Extremely fine.

This interesting imitation combines an obverse of Trebonianus Gallus with a reverse of his son Volusian (RIC 166).
