Rev. SPES PVBLICA Spes advancing left, holding flower in her right hand and raising skirt with her left. Cohen 38. RIC 149. A lovely piece with a very attractive portrait. Struck from a worn reverse die, otherwise, about extremely fine.

From the Joseph Markowitz Collection (1897-1981), brought to Israel in 1949 and kept in the family ever since.
