KINGS OF MACEDON. Alexander III ‘the Great’. Drachm (Silver, 21 mm, 4.27 g, 12 h), Magnesia ad Maeandrum, circa 280-270. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin. Rev. ΑΛΕΞΧΑΝΔΡΟΥ Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; eagle in right hand and long scepter vertical in left hand, feeto on footstool; monogram in left field, maeander pattern in exergue.
