KINGS OF MACEDON. Amyntas III, 393-370/69 BC. Stater (Silver, 21 mm, 9.38 g, 12 h), Aigai. Bearded head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. AMY-NTA Horse standing right; all within linear square within incuse square. HGC 3.1, 828. SNG ANS 91-3. SNG Alpha Bank 195-6. SNG Copenhagen 512. Beautifully toned and with a fine pedigree. Slightly granular and with light deposits, otherwise, very fine.
