Hadrian, 117-138. Sestertius (Orichalcum, 33 mm, 26.74 g, 6 h), Rome, 137-138. HADRIANVS AVG COS III P P Laureate bust of Hadrian to right, slight drapery on his left shoulder. Rev. SPES P•R / S - C Spes advancing left, holding flower in her right hand and raising hem of skirt with her left. BMC 1560 var. (no drapery). Cohen 1415 var. (no drapery). RIC 2432. Well struck and with an attractive portrait. Smoothed and with an edge crack, otherwise, good very fine.
