A beautiful Dupondius of Hadrian

Hadrian, 117-138. Dupondius (Orichalcum, 28 mm, 13.07 g, 6 h), Rome, circa 126-127. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS Radiate head of Hadrian to right, with slight drapery on his left shouder. Rev. COS III / S - C Fides standing front, head to right, holding grain ears in her right hand and dish of fruit in her left. BMC 1322. Cohen 388. RIC 867. An attractive example with lovely green patina and a fine portrait. Minor traces of corrosion, otherwise, about extremely fine.
