Hadrian, 117-138. Sestertius (Orichalcum, 35 mm, 31.73 g, 6 h), Rome, 125-127. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS Laureate bust of Hadrian to right, with slight drapery on his left shoulder. Rev. COS III / S - C Neptube standing left, with his right foot restig on a prow, holding acrostolium in his right hand and trident in his left. BMC 1291-3. Cohen 311. RIC 811. A bold and attractive example struck on an unusually heavy flan. Very fine.
