Titus, 79-81. Sestertius (Orichalcum, 34 mm, 22.47 g, 6 h), Rome, 80-81. IMP T CAES VESP AVG P M TR P P P COS VIII Laureate head of Titus to left. Rev. ANNONA AVG Annona standing front, head to left, holding statuette of Aequitas in her right hand and cornucopiae in her left; at her feet to left, modius containing grain ears; to right, stern of ship. BMC 153. CBN 152. Cohen 15. RIC 137. Attractive olive green patina and with an excellent portrait. Slightly smoothed and with minor traces of corrosion, otherwise, good very fine.

From an old Swiss collection (with collector's ticket, inv. no. 29.15) and reportedly from the collection of Apostolo Zeno (1668-1750, hors catalogue).
