Q. Servilius Caepio, 100 BC. Denarius (Silver, 20 mm, 3.94 g, 2 h), with Calpurnius Piso Caesoninus, Rome. PISO•CAEPIO•Q Laureate and bearded head of Saturn to right; behind, harpa; below, arrow. Rev. AD•FRV•EMV / EX•S•C Two male figures seated left on subsellium, looking toward each other; on either side, grain ear. Babelon (Calpurnia) 5 and (Servilia) 12. Crawford 330/1a. RBW 1189 var. (differing control). Sydenham 603. A lustrous, fresh and sharply struck example. Very minor weakness on the reverse, otherwise, virtually as struck.
