Anonymous, circa 209-208 BC. Denarius (Silver, 22 mm, 4.33 g, 6 h), uncertain mint in central Italy. Helmeted head of Roma to right; behind, X (mark of value). Rev. ROMA (on tablet) The Dioscuri on horseback right, each holding couched lance in right hand; above, C. Crawford 107/1b. RBW 495. Sydenham 155. Nicely toned. Struck from somewhat worn dies, otherwise, very fine.
