ISLANDS OFF THRACE, Samothrace. Circa 500-465 BC. Hemiobol (Silver, 6 mm, 0.33 g). Head of a bearded Kabeiros to right. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. W. Schwabacher, Kiourpet, 7 and pl. XI, 7. Very rare and beautifully toned. Struck somewhat off center, otherwise, very fine.
