UNITED STATES. 1776-present. Half Dollar 1827 (Silver, 32 mm, 13.36 g, 6 h), Capped Bust with lettered edge, Philadelphia. 1827 Capped liberty bust to left; around, thirteen stars. Rev. UNITED STATES OF AMERICA / E PLURIBUS UNUM Eagle with spread wings standing right, head to left, with shield on its chest, holding olive branch and arrows in its talons. KM 37. Beautifully toned. Tiny scratches and a small fingerprint on the obverse, otherwise, about extremely fine.
