From the collection of an Aotearoa Grazier and the St. Alban's Collection, Spink 22096, 8 December 2022, 20, from 'A Distinguished Collection', acquired via Spink in August 2018, previously privately acquired from M. Roberts in September 2011 (invoice no. MG-0240), and ex Künker 186, 17 March 2011, 7703.

This piece represents a rare and intriguing die combination. The obverse, featuring the overpunched second 'N' in 'ANNA', is an unusual characteristic for 1713 Guinea coinage. Equally distinctive is the queen’s tied hair, which extends far enough to touch the 'R' of 'GRATIA'.
