Constans, 337-350. Medallion (Bronze, 35 mm, 26.97 g, 12 h), Rome, 337-340. D N FL CONSTANS AVG Rosette-and-laurel-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Constans to right. Rev. VRBS ROMA BEATA Roma seated left, holding Victory on globe in her right hand and spear in her left; at her side, shield. Cohen 118. Gnecchi II, 32 and pl. 135, 12 (same dies). Ntantalia 89.4 (this coin, V41/R60). RIC 377. Very rare and with a very old pedigree. Slightly smoothed and with minor traces of corrosion, otherwise, nearly very fine.
