Valerian I, 253-260. Antoninianus (Silver, 20 mm, 3.70 g, 1 h), Rome, 253. IMP C P LIC VALERIANVS AVG Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Valerian I to right. Rev. VOTIS / DECENNA/LIBVS in three lines within laurel wreath. Cohen -. Eauze -. MIR 40d. RIC 139. Very rare. Lightly toned and with an unusually well struck reverse. A few minor flan faults and the obverse a bit weak, otherwise, extremely fine.
