Aemilian, 253. Antoninianus (Silver, 23 mm, 3.96 g, 11 h), Rome. IMP AEMILIANVS PIVS FEL AVG Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Aemilian to right, seen from behind. Rev. ERCVL VICTORI Hercules standing front, head to right, leaning his right hand on club set on ground and holding arrow in his left; lion skin draped over his left arm. Cohen 13. Hunter 10. RIC 3b. Nicely toned and with an unusually fine and sharp portrait. Struck on a somewhat ragged flan from a slightly worn reverse die, otherwise, good extremely fine.
