PROVIDENTIAE DEORVM / S - C Winged thunderbolt. BMC 1267. Cohen 682. RIC 618. A well struck and perfectly centered example with a beautiful rendering of Jupiter's thunderbolt. Light deposits and with minor spots of corrosion, otherwise, about extremely fine.

From the Pavlos Seitanidis Collection and from the collection of Kurt Zimmermann (1937-2025) of Winterthur, long-serving numismatist at Schweizerische Kreditanstalt and Leu Numismatik, Leu 19, 18 October 2025, 186, privately acquired from Schweizerische Kreditanstalt in June 1972, and reportedly previously acquired from Bourgey.
