LUCANIA. Metapontion. Circa 540-510 BC. Stater (Silver, 28 mm, 8.08 g). ΜΕΤΑ Ear of barley with seven grains; around, dotted border. Rev. Incuse ear of barley with eight grains; around, rayed border. Noe Class VI, 128 (same dies). HN Italy 1479. SNG ANS 216 (same dies). SNG München 934 (same dies). Nicely toned. Minor marks, otherwise, good very fine.
