Galley sailing to left before city wall with three crenellated towers; below, lion recumbent left. Rev. The Persian Great King standing right, drawing bow; to left, incuse head of Bes; to right, incuse head of ibex to right. Betlyon 10. BMC 15 and pl. XVIII, 10. E&E-S Group III.3.a. HGC 10, 230. Traité 897 and pl. XXIX, 25. Lightly toned and unusually well preserved, a lovely little coin. Minor porosity and the obverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, extremely fine.
