PAMPHYLIA. Aspendos. Circa 330/25-300/250 BC. Stater (Silver, 24 mm, 10.37 g, 12 h). Two nude wrestlers, standing and grappling with each other; between them, E. Rev. EΣTFEΔIY Slinger standing right, about to shoot from his sling; to right, triskeles running left above club. SNG Paris 124. SNG von Aulock 4574. Tekin Series 5. A beautiful piece, very well struck and with lovely old collection toning. Extremely fine.
